I have been working with computer software and hardware for over thirty years, first as a programmer and then in management. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA Degree from Santa Clara University. In August 2007 I obtained a certificate in program and project management with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I begin my career in San Diego before moving to the Silicon Valley. I have written compilers, device drivers, and applications for Unix and Windows based systems, and have worked for companies such as Olivetti, Philips Semiconductors, and Cisco Systems.
I have been interested in the World Wide Web and the Internet since their inception. In 1995, at Philips Semiconductors, I created a web site allowing our customers access to documentation and downloads of the latest software for their products. Since then I havefollowed the development of the Internet with interest, first by utilizing Microsoft IIS and FrontPage, and then later expanding into Linux based systems, PHP and Java programming, MySQL databases, and the Macromedia Dreamweaver application.
I began developing web sites for others approximately two years ago. First, by doing gratis work for nonprofits, but eventually charging for services as my demand grew. In March I began doing contract work for AWDGS and in June became a partner in the company.
I bring to AWDGS the programming and database design skills necessary for us to continue providing the high quality web design and implementation skills, you, our customers expect of us. Please take a look at our website and contact me if you are interested in employing us.
